Bitcoin was marketed as “digital gold” by the HF Grayscale in September 2013. Their plan went too well. Became a store of value or a way to show your belief in blockchain via investment.
Fast forward 8 years and Grayscale is now buying Ethereum and calling it “the backbone of blockchain”. A technology that was looking for a purpose has found MANY.
Ether is becoming PoS, deflationary, stateless, smart contract / NFT king of blockchain technology.. ether is the future Bitcoin is the past..
P.S - I hate HF’s. They destroy financial markets. Fortunately Ether’s 2.0 network will be run by validators staking 32 ETH; meaning it’s accessible to the non ultra wealthy. The network, blockchain, and token for the people and it’s future!
